Halfway into the duration of my internship, my client showed me a free flyer that he had received from a creative designer who was wanting to create promotional material for the business. After analysing the flyer with my client and providing my opinion my client suggested that Annabelle (a law intern) and I collaborate on our own one to produce one for him.
This was the biggest paired collaboration that I did through my internship as Annabelle provided the legal content for me to place on the flyer. During this process, we followed Tuckman, B.W. (1965) psychological model. To begin with we got together and looked and the flyer to analyse what had and hadn’t been done, and what we could do to improve it. We then progressed onto the storming stage where we allocated roles, Annabelle was responsible for researching and developing new content while I was responsible for the design and creation of the flyer, from here we then went our own way to gather information and analyse the outcomes before getting back together to show each other the progress we made. Once we showed each other what we had produced so far we then had a discussion where recommendations and new ideas were produced, this then allowed us to move on to the final stage of putting our work together in one document.
The Child law section is empty as during this our client decided to add this new section as a part of their business options which left Annabelle having to learn about child law in great detail which took a long amount of time, so by the time I had finished my hours she had not produced the information me to add into the flyer.
A template for a Law business flyer was also created but due to the client not producing the information for me to add within the duration of my internship the template was left blank.
